Keep Going – You’re Nearly There!

keep-goingThe end of the year is less than two months away and by now I’m starting to feel the pressure of completing what I’d set out to achieve this year. My mind teeters between giving up and finding faster, better & easier ways of doing what I need to get it done. An interesting thought process as I oscillate from one to the other, neither of which is at all helpful in progressing to the finish line!

It’s time to put down my whip, re–group and see my accomplishments so far and to build the momentum for the home stretch towards 2016 success.

There’ve been some interesting twists & turns so far this year. Awakening my financial genius was supposed to see me with more money than I need, with a diary full of income producing activities and a bank balance that reflects the same. To my mind, that’s the way it’s supposed to show up. Instead, I’ve been project managing repairs to a property, dealing with insurance companies and builders and the bank. Whatever happened to the nice easy return from tenants offered long term rental? The lessons don’t always show up as expected. I guess if things were that easy I wouldn’t get the lesson!

The project is almost complete. What a load off my mind that will be! Despite the extended delays I’ve been quite proud of the way I’ve stepped up and followed through to make sure it’s all complete. In the next few weeks, new tenants could be in, enjoying an almost new home, an offer for sale could be a possibility, or perhaps the bank might decide otherwise.

Whatever happens, the year is not yet over. I still have two months in which to take this one to the end, to continue learning the skills to awaken my financial genius. As I write I realize there is something else I want 2016 to be about – stepping into leadership – I would say I’ve done that with the very lessons I’ve been learning around awakening my financial genius.

The end of the year is still nearly two months away. There is still time to end 2016 on a high note. The only pressure is trusting that by continuing to the finish line I am a winner. Here’s to the home stretch!
