Yes, it’s been a while! So what have I been up to?
For a while there life got really busy with all the things I crammed into my Wednesdays. Clients, my health (nothing serious, maintenance stuff), I finally got my tax done, networking and attending workshops and classes both for learning and for getting out in the world some more. I knew I was sorting out the old to make way for the new.
The shock news that I no longer had my part-time role three minutes walk from home came, seemingly, from nowhere. It means that I no longer have the luxury of doing things in my time, slowly, comfortably, when I feel like it. I will now have to start taking serious action!
While I’m enjoying the freedom and luxury of time I am filling my life to my timetable, in my way, with subtle changes in priorities that look after me too. My health (a detox is in progress as we speak and new habits will next be in place), more frequent family and friend connections, growing my client base and this year’s tax will be done early.
There will be more networking and attending workshops and classes to continue learning and getting out in the world some more. I am still sorting out the old as I’m creating the new (there’s no reason it can’t be done at the same time, is there?).
I am detoxing more than my body right now. I am detoxing an old way of life, an old way of living, an old way of being. I have some good foundations in place to build on, there are some projects still unfinished and there are new muscles to build. An exciting and scary journey is now underway!
