And this week I thought I would be winding down for the year! Finishing up a whole life and starting a new one means that things are still being finalised even as I embark on this next adventure of a full-time role during the day and keeping things going outside of that.
The lead up included a housesit move, so clean & pack up from one and establishing myself in the next. Life seems chaotic and that’s okay. There is no need to rush anything, things will unfold and reveal themselves all in good time.
Saying yes to a new adventure does mean some uncertainty and resettling. It can be done with drama & angst or the choice to do so with grace is always an option. There will continue to be letting go, finalising and finishing up. Life doesn’t move in an orderly fashion. Emotions come up when you least expect them and the best thing to do is honour them, let them pass through (even if this means it takes more than one time). “But I’m crying all the time” one of my clients complained. Crying is a letting go, let it go. Moving on to next adventures requires a grieving period. And then there will be gratitude. There are blessings and lessons and that is life. Be gentle with yourself in this vulnerable state and let it pass.
In between finishing up, and starting something new I am also winding down. It’s been a big year with many adventures. I have much to be grateful for and much to look forward to. Despite the uncertainties of my current situation I continue to create a new and solid foundation from which to start 2019.
