Surrounding Yourself with Love

One of the best ways we can treat ourselves is to be in supportive environments:

  • the physical spaces we live, work and do business in
  • who we surround ourselves with and
  • what we’re filling your headspace with.

Creating the space for a supportive environment can be as simple as:

  • Cleaning up what is no longer need (for best results do this with love and gratitude) and
  • Spending more time with what is wanted (for best results do this with genuine curiosity & openness.)

This could mean challenging those very comfortable old behaviors and replacing them with new ones that may feel uncomfortable at first.

  • Cleaning up of your physical, mental & digital environments
  • Refreshing with a new theme or color scheme
  • Resigning from a job that no longer works for you or
  • Sacking that client who is not respecting you
  • Limiting time/having courageous conversations with that friend/partner/sibling/parent who is no longer supporting you
  • Spending more time with like-minded friends and influences
  • Saying no to activities you feel obligated to do
  • Saying yes to activities you want to do
  • Saying yes to new thinking that inspires and excites you

When we say no to what is no longer working we open up the space for new opportunities to come into our lives. Creating the environment that supports and nurtures the future we want is a great place to start. With a new focus, the rest will follow.
